The Criminal Justice System should serve the People equally. Justice needs to be devoid of judgments based on wealth, race, and ethnicity.

Under my administration, we will see a Criminal Justice System that:

• Has the capacity to serve those trapped within it more effectively and quickly with:

  • More Judges to oversee cases

  • More Courtrooms to facilitate the justice process

  • More Public Defenders to handle cases and alleviate the workload from public defenders enamored with cases

• Has a police force better able to serve the community with:

  • An increase of meetings between the communities and the precincts helps them ensure a clear communication means

  • Discussions with the higher-ups in the Department to ensure that methods of policing are fair

  • Working towards more transparency with the Department and the Public
