Public Housing
The largest landlord in NYC is the city itself, and it is our duty to treat our tenants properly. That means we must answer the call to improve our public housing. I will work to ensure that tenants have access to clean power, lead-free water, working elevators, high-speed internet, and a safe environment.

Criminal Justice Reform
The summer of 2020 is one that helped to create inroads towards working for a more equitable system for everyone regardless of wealth, race, or ethnicity. I would take action to make sure that people are treated equally in the criminal justice system by making targeted investments to build capacity to handle the people already in the system in a timely manner, as required by law.

Infrastructure
In New York, our infrastructure is what sets us apart from the rest of the world. From a 24/7 subway system to bike lanes, there are many ways to get around this city. Improving our options, ensuring every New Yorker has fair access to public transportation, is a priority.

Public Hospitals
If the pandemic has taught us anything, it is the importance of our healthcare. It has also shown how communities have been underserved by the city. I will work to improve our public hospitals creating easier access to healthcare for all New Yorkers, regardless of insurance or documentation, and work to create more local access to regular checkups and other preventative healthcare.

Equity Programs
Equality is only as good as the system of equity that exists to ensure everyone can be equal. I would give my all to assure that there are systems of equity across our communities to provide equal access to a level playing field for everyone.
